If you look closely, you can see this wallabay has a little joey. So cute!
We made this cake for Charlotte’s birthday because she was recently the hero who killed a snake they found in their house.

Owen loves “helping” me in the kitchen. A couple of weeks ago we were going to make a chocolate cake. Owen came out with me to hang the washing, but when I finished, I realized he wasn’t outside anymore. I came inside to find he had dumped a bunch of the cocoa into an empty light fixture that we had taken down. He was scooping it into the mixing bowl with the tablespoon.
Luckily we had just enough clean cocoa left for the cake. After we were all done, Owen got to lick the bowl, his favorite part of helping. And then he got to have a shower to clean up. So cute.
We’ve been wanting to move for awhile now. Our little townhouse was nice, but getting too small for two growing boys with lots of energy. We were lucky enough to find the perfect house, still in our ward, just 5 houses away from the house Sam grew up in. We were so glad that Mum and Dad were here to help. Mum’s cleaning skills came in especially handy.
We went from this:

We are so happy here and know that we are really blessed to have such a fabulous place to live.
We loved having Mum and Dad here. The boys were spoiled, and so were we, since Dad usually got up early with Owen! Hopefully not too long until we get to see everyone again. One last photo, enjoying our last fish and chips picnic. Thanks for coming! We love you!
One of the last big things we did was go to Australia Zoo. As usual, it was a big hit. Everyone had a great time. The boys really loved the Komodo Dragon. Jackson also really liked the Rhino in the new African exhibit.
This goose followed us for ages nipping at anything it could. We thought it was going to eat Mum. This is her trying to convince it to leave us along.
We also took a quick trip to Mt. Tambourine one day while Jackson was at school. We did the treetop walk and then a short hike to a nice waterfall.
